Worse microwave Ive ever owned. Paint peeling off bottom and been getting the runaround from customer service for a month now. Plan to see what legal options I might have since paint is falling onto burners and food below. LG has shown no concern to date.

Love Microwave Features-Purchased same failed unit

Purchased the same unit in 2019 - failed in 2022. The magnetron failed - noise and no heating. 2 years on parts and service and 10 years on magnetron back in 2019. Service was expensive - so went for new unit. Researched - reviews old and new still very good. So purchased again. Same bracket same screw holes on top. Quick replacement. 2022 unit is now 1 years parts and service. Still 10 years on magnetron. Obviously love the unit to purchase twice - features look - control across the bottom - easier for all to reach.

Stopped Cooking

I had this microwave for almost 3 years now. In early January it just stopped cooking. Everything else works but it wont heat up and cook. I had bought the extended warranty from Home Depot where I bought the microwave and have been dealing with the run around since January 5 2022. I have not had a microwave for over 6 weeks now and am very frustrated. LG could not find anyone to work on it so they said they would replace or refund my money. I asked for a replacement because the price of things have gone up so much. When I call LGE I get transferred to one dept after another over and over again Ive been disconnected several times and each time I have to repeat the same information Ive already given them. You asked me for my review well you got it. Im not sure I will ever buy another LG again.

Loads of preprogrammed time options making operating a piece of cake. Installation was simple for an average DIYer.
